Newly Updated:
We have recently updated BaFa’ BaFa’ to better address personal space (no direct touching), with better instructions for both facilitators and participants (video instructions replace audio CD’s) and much more. The new updates make it easier for facilitators to teach about culture, diversity and inclusion.
Professional BaFa’ BaFa’ is purchased in two pieces:
- A Reusable Director’s Kit with everything needed for the facilitators portion (shown here).
- One set of participant materials for each person going through the program (see related items below for Participant Material ordering information). The participant materials includes both individual participant materials and group materials. These materials are presorted and set up specifically for your training.
The Director’s Kit has everything the facilitator needs for setting up, running and debriefing the program. It includes new Alpha and Beta culture video instructions, powerpoints, detailed diagrams, wall chart and step by step instructions for discussing the experience and bringing the learnings back into the workplace.
So for example, if you’re planning to conduct a training session for 30 participants, you’ll need to have one Director’s kit and 30 sets of participant materials. The participant materials include all of the materials each person needs to participate in the simulation and are consumable. If you would like to run the program again, you can reuse the Director’s Kit, but will need to purchase new participant materials for each person going through the program. When participants finish BaFa’ BaFa’, they know what it feels like to be the one person in a group who is different. They understand how easily stereotypes can be developed and what must be done to overcome them.
NOTE: You can learn more about The Schools & Charities version of BaFa’ BaFa’ here and it can be ordered here (exclusively for qualified Schools, Universities, Charities and Non-Profit organizations). The materials usually ship one to three business days after receiving the order.
